Forgiveness

Matthew 6:14-15
If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.

I know that forgiveness is a tough thing. It is hard to forgive others who have really hurt you because you are just so angry at them and also because you don't understand why they deserve it. Thats the thing: no one deserves it. You don't deserve forgiveness from God, yet He gives it to you anyways. Your "enemies" don't deserve forgiveness from you nor from God, but there is this thing called grace and mercy. You have to get over what they've done to you. I know that is difficult. But it also has to do with you moving on so that you can continue on your walk with God. Holding a grudge against people holds you back from what God has planned for you. Holding grudges makes you too tense of a person in general.
Yes I struggle with this as do most people. There is no better way to explain how to forgive someone, it is something you just have to get over, bulk up, and forgive them. But once you forgive them, I promise you will feel better.
