Jesus Calling Nov 2nd

Give Me Faith - Elevation Worship

Just because you may be weak doesn't mean God isn't with you. That means He is even closer to you. He wants you to grow stronger through Him. He is shining His light on you so that you can do so. His Spirit is always in you, keeping you strong. Sometimes you just don't realize it and you feel weak and alone. You are never alone. Don't be so hard on yourself because you keep falling and need help. Just go to Him for help, go to Him telling Him all that you need and He will comfort you. Train yourself not to complain when you struggle, but to get up and thank Him for all that He blesses with. Doing that shows that you trust Him and know He is with you and has you safe in His arms.

Psalm 116:1-8 (MSG)
I love God because he listened to me,
    listened as I begged for mercy.
He listened so intently
    as I laid out my case before him.
Death stared me in the face,
    hell was hard on my heels.
Up against it, I didn’t know which way to turn;
    then I called out to God for help:
“Please, God!” I cried out.
    “Save my life!”
God is gracious—it is he who makes things right,
    our most compassionate God.
God takes the side of the helpless;
    when I was at the end of my rope, he saved me.
I said to myself, “Relax and rest.
    God has showered you with blessings.
    Soul, you’ve been rescued from death;
    Eye, you’ve been rescued from tears;
    And you, Foot, were kept from stumbling.”

Isaiah 30:15-17 (MSG)
God, the Master, The Holy of Israel,
    has this solemn counsel:
“Your salvation requires you to turn back to me
    and stop your silly efforts to save yourselves.
Your strength will come from settling down
    in complete dependence on me—
The very thing
    you’ve been unwilling to do.
You’ve said, ‘Nothing doing! We’ll rush off on horseback!’
    You’ll rush off, all right! Just not far enough!
You’ve said, ‘We’ll ride off on fast horses!’
    Do you think your pursuers ride old nags?
Think again: A thousand of you will scatter before one attacker.
    Before a mere five you’ll all run off.
There’ll be nothing left of you—
    a flagpole on a hill with no flag,
    a signpost on a roadside with the sign torn off.”
