Jesus Calling August 24th

Psalm 139:1-6 (MSG)
God, investigate my life; get all the facts firsthand.
   I'm an open book to you;
      even from a distance, you know what I'm thinking.
   You know when I leave and when I get back;
      I'm never out of your sight.
   You know everything I'm going to say
      before I start the first sentence.
   I look behind me and you're there,
      then up ahead and you're there, too—
      your reassuring presence, coming and going.
   This is too much, too wonderful—
      I can't take it all in!

God is everywhere. He is everything. He is a part of us. He is always watching us. He knows everything we are going to do, say, even think, before we do so. His Presence is always near. We cannot run, nor hide anything from Him. It's not even possible. Many of us know He resides within us and we can feel His Presence, others flee from Him saying He does not exist. They are afraid.
Do not be afraid, He is the God, the creator of the universe. He has made us clean and right. There is nothing to run from. It is a blessing He lives so near and that we can have a relationship with Him. Share Him with the world. Shine His light into the darkness!

Ephesians 2:11-13 (MSG)
But don't take any of this for granted. It was only yesterday that you outsiders to God's ways had no idea of any of this, didn't know the first thing about the way God works, hadn't the faintest idea of Christ. You knew nothing of that rich history of God's covenants and promises in Israel, hadn't a clue about what God was doing in the world at large. Now because of Christ—dying that death, shedding that blood—you who were once out of it altogether are in on everything.

2 Corinthians 5:21 (MSG)
How? you ask. In Christ. God put the wrong on him who never did anything wrong, so we could be put right with God.
